It is with sadness that we record the passing of Stan Pearman on Monday 2nd September 2024.
He passed at the age of of 80 years having suffered the ravages of Dementia.
Our sympathies go to his wife Belinda, daughters Abigael, Elsbeth, Amy and Emily. Our thoughts are with the rest of his family including his grandchildren who have all been involved with the club for many years. Stan was a great Clubman and always enjoyed his pint or three.
He played his first Club game in the 59/60 season at the age of 16, and then played his first
game for the First XV the following season at the age of 17. He went on to play over 350 First
XV games over the following seasons. He also played for the County a number of times gaining
County honours in the 73/74 season. He was well known amongst local clubs as the Wycombe
hardman. He had the dubious honour of appearing 12 times before the County Disciplinary
Committee over the many years of his playing career. He had the honour of captaining the first team and holding club chairman position. He was also a member of Wycombe Badgers, a local monthly dining club based at High
Wycombe Cricket Club which raises money for local charities.
Rest in peace Stan.
